All India Agricutural Students Association (AIASA), New Delhi has been established on Jan 8, 2011 to look after the welfare of agricultural students
Mission
To Promote National Integration, Patriotism & Communal Harmony.
To Provide Mutual Help, Goodwill, Fellow Feeling & A Mutual Contact Among The Members.
To Promote The Social And Cultural Welfare Of The Members & Encourage The Intellectual Development.
To Provide An Opportunity To The Members To Train Themselves In The Art Of Self Government And Group Leadership.
To Promote The Consciousness Of The Members Regarding The Aims And Working Of Various National And International Students / Scientific / Technical / Educational / Farmers Organizations.
To Represent The Association In The National And International Agriculture Policy Making Body.
To Find Out Immediate Solution For All Such Problems As May Expose The Common Interest Of The Members By Meeting, Discussion And Making Suggestions And Other Democratic Ways To The Concern Authorities And Act As A Communicator To Authorities / Government.
Highlighting The Activities Of Association By Publishing Newsletters Periodically On Website.
To Make Efforts For Improving The Job Opportunities For Agricultural Students And Impress Upon The Government For Creation Of All India Cadre Of Indian Agriculture Service By Having Specialized Cadre Of Agriculture Research Service, Agriculture & Rural Development Service, Foreign Agriculture Service, Agriculture Inspection Service And Agriculture Education Service (Or Inclusion Of Agriculture Education In The Proposed Indian Education Service).
To Make Efforts For Advancement Of Agricultural Research, Education, Extension, Agricultural Trade And Development Activities / Programs And Other Policy Issues For Improving Agriculture Production And Productivity And For Improving Job Opportunities For Agricultural Students.
To Make Efforts For Restructuring Of Entire Agricultural Administrative System/Set Up At Par.
To Eradicate Bureaucratic Interference And Corruption At Central/States/Districts Level And Strive For Introducing Transparent System In Agriculture Education And In Implementation Of Agricultural Development Programs Through The Multi-Disciplinary District Agriculture Board/Committee Headed By Technocrats From The Officers Of Indian Agricultural Service.
The Association is constituted to bring all the Agricultural Students and former students from al over India under one umbrella for the welfare of agriculture sector as a whole including Agriculture, Veterinary Science, Horticulture, Animal Husbandry, Fishery Science, Agricultural Engineering And Other Related Sub-Sectors
